Odessa Police Make 3 Arrests in Connection to Assault Investigations

Woman Arrested after Attempting to Stab Step-Mother with Kitchen Knife

Odessa Police arrested Keiante Janee Keeling, date of birth 03/06/1999, on 6-9-18 at approximately 1950 hours for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Family Violence) “2nd Degree Felony”. Officers responded to 1000 East Monahans (Arbor Oaks Apartments) in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 36-year-old female and her step-daughter, identified as Keeling. Investigation revealed that after a disturbance occurred between both subjects, Keeling grabbed a kitchen knife and ran towards her step-mother. Keeling swung the knife at her step-mother and attempted to stab her.

The 36-year-old female complainant grabbed the knife from Keeling and sustained no injuries as a result of the incident. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Keeling was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

Man Arrested after Assaulting Wife & Choking her on Multiple Occasions

Odessa Police arrested Christopher Tedor, date of birth 05/16/1970, on 6-10-18 at approximately 0342 hours for Assault by Strangulation (Family Violence) “3rd Degree Felony”. Officers responded to the 2400 block of Cambridge in reference to an assault in progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 28-year-old female and her husband, identified as Tedor.

Investigation revealed that after a disturbance occurred between both subjects, Tedor began punching his wife all over her body before grabbing her by the neck and choking her. The victim was able to fight off Tedor and run outside to her vehicle in attempt to flee. However, Tedor caught his wife just as she entered her vehicle.

Tedor began striking his wife several more times and grabbed her by the throat and began choking her a second time. Two neighbors came out of their homes and yelled that they were calling the police. Tedor then released his wife and went back inside the house. Officers observed bodily injury on the victim’s left arm and neck.

Tedor did show signs of a struggle when officers arrived. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Tedor was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

Man Arrested after Punching, Biting & Choking Girlfriend

Odessa Police arrested Thomas Lucio III, date of birth 09/12/1972, on 6-13-18 at approximately 0009 hours for Assault by Strangulation (Family Violence) “3rd Degree Felony”. Officers responded to 2505 Kermit Highway (J Bar T Apartments) in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 42-year-old female and her boyfriend, identified as Lucio.

Investigation revealed that after a disturbance occurred between both subjects, Lucio began to punch his girlfriend in the face before pushing her onto the ground. Lucio then placed his knee over his girlfriend’s throat and began to apply pressure. The girlfriend reported that Lucio bit her on the arm and also punched her in the face.

Officers observed bodily injury on the girlfriend’s right eye and right arm, along with a bite mark on her right arm. A neighbor reported that they observed Lucio throwing his girlfriend against the wall and later observed him on top of his girlfriend. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Lucio was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the ECLEC.
