The Midessa Metro Auto Theft Task Force covers the 24 county area of the Permian Basin and offers investigative and technical support to more than 30 law enforcement agencies. The Task Force is comprised of investigators from the Odessa Police Department, the Midland Police Department, and the Midland County Sheriff's Office.
