Mission Statement
The Odessa Police Animal Control, Field Operations Division is an entity of the Odessa Police Department that strives to safeguard our citizens and community with animal related issues.
We provide various animal related services to the public. These services include but are not limited to:
- Animal bite investigation/prevention
- Animal cruelty investigation
- Wildlife issues within the city limits
- Humane trap setting and trap education
- Zoonotic disease control and education
- Animal husbandry education
- Microchip identification services
- For rodent issues call pest control
- Enforcement of city ordinances reference to animal violations
- Other animal related issues

Outside Hours
Saturday, Sunday, holidays, and after 6 pm an emergency officer is on duty. Emergency calls only for the on-call officer.
