The City Secretary's Office strives to effectively respond to the needs of our citizens through professional assistance of public service. The City Secretary:
- Serves as a liaison between citizens and the Mayor and City Council
- Prepares the agendas for and attends all Council meetings
- Oversees:

- Municipal elections
- The Records Management Program (permanent documents are preserved by the City Secretary's Office)
