OPD & FBI Asking for Public's Assistance with Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

DATE/TIME REPORTED: January 8, 2020 at approximately 1220 hours
LOCATION: 3809 East 42nd Street (BBVA Compass Bank)
On January 8, 2020 at approximately 1220 hours, the Odessa Police Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation responded to 3809 East 42nd Street in reference to a bank robbery.
Investigation revealed that an unknown male subject entered the bank and presented a note to a teller while displaying a handgun. The suspect then exited the bank and left the scene in a white truck with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no reports of any injuries.
The suspect is described as a thin white male with light-colored eyes, approximately 6’ tall and 180 pounds, wearing a black hoodie with an oxygen tube, glasses and a surgical mask. The suspect is occupying a white 4X4 (2009-2018) Dodge Ram (2500 or 3500). The bed of the truck has a diamond plate auxiliary fuel tank and the front doors possibly had a company logo that was covered with tape.
