3 Arrests Made in Connection to Permian Basin Motor Sports & More Robbery

SUMMARY:

Odessa Police have made 3 arrests in connection to a robbery that occurred this afternoon in Northwest Odessa. Chaviya Crosby DOB 9-4-02 and two 16-year-old males have been charged with Aggravated Robbery “1st Degree Felony”.

On February 8, 2020 at approximately 1236 hours, Odessa Police responded to 1413 North County Road West in reference to a robbery.  The complainant reported that they were robbed by unknown subjects inside of a local business and that the suspects fired rounds at a customer while fleeing the scene in a gray jeep.

There were no reports of any injuries. An attempt to locate was placed on the suspect vehicle, which was later located in the 3700 block of Andrews Highway. Three suspects were also located and identified as Crosby and two 16-year-old males.

Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, all three subjects were charged and arrested accordingly. Crosby was transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center and the two 16-year-olds were transported to the Ector County Youth Center.
