Odessa Police Make Arrests in Connection to Stabbing in the 1400 Block of South Odessa
Two arrests have been made in connection to a stabbing that occurred Wednesday morning in the 1400 block of South Texas. Armando Quinonez, date of birth 05/12/1999 and Kristian Dutchover, date of birth 06/02/1998, have both been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Family Violence) "1st Degree Felony". Both subjects were located and placed into custody today at approximately 1448 hours following a traffic stop near University and Andrews Highway.

Odessa Police are asking for the public’s assistance locating two subjects involved in a stabbing that occurred this morning in South Odessa. Armando Quinonez, date of birth 05/12/1999 and Kristian Dutchover, date of birth 06/02/1998, are currently wanted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Family Violence) “1st Degree Felony”.
On January 10, 2018 at approximately 1037 hours, Odessa Police responded to the 1400 block of South Texas in reference to a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed that Quinonez and Dutchover had both assaulted a family member, identified as Mario Macias, 41 years of age.
Quinonez and Dutchover assaulted Macias with a beer bottle and stabbed him multiple times in the back before fleeing the scene. Macias drove himself to Medical Center Hospital with serious bodily injury. Macias is currently listed as being in fair condition.
Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, OPD detectives obtained warrants for Quinonez and Dutchover. Anyone with information in reference to their whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Odessa Police Department or Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS.
