Theft Call Leads to Arrest of 3 Subjects with Cocaine, Ecstasy & Marijuana
Odessa Police arrested Gregory Ifeanyi Okwusogu, date of birth 10/06/1987, on 1-4-19 at approximately 0247 hours for Possession of Ecstasy “State Jail Felony”, Possession of Marijuana “Class B Misdemeanor”, and for a parole violation warrant. Odessa Police arrested Talvis Diamond Redic AKA: Jefferson, date of birth 07/23/1987, for Possession of Marijuana “Class B Misdemeanor”.
Odessa Police also arrested Alesha Ann Dean, date of birth 01/02/1990, for Manufacture or Delivery of Ecstasy “1st Degree Felony”, Possession of Cocaine “3rd Degree Felony”, Tampering with Physical Evidence “3rd Degree Felony”, Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility “3rd Degree Felony”, and Possession of Marijuana “Class B Misdemeanor”.
Officers responded to 6824 Cargo Road (Jaguars Club) in reference to a theft. While officers were on scene, they observed a male subject asleep behind the wheel of gray 2016 Ford Fusion with the engine running. Officers made contact with the driver of the listed vehicle, identified as Okwusogu. The front passenger of the listed vehicle was identified as Dean and the back passenger was identified as Jefferson.
Officers found Okwusogu to be in possession of ecstasy and marijuana. Officers found a total of approximately 60 grams of ecstasy. Dean was found to have marijuana and ecstasy concealed on her person. Jefferson was also found to be in possession of marijuana. All three subjects were placed into custody and transported to the ECLEC. While at the jail, Dean was found to be in possession of 1.1 grams of cocaine and more ecstasy.
