Man Arrested 6th Time for DWI after Passing Out in Front of Odessa Police Station

Odessa Police arrested Cesar Josue Arizpe, date of birth 06/05/1973, on 1-5-19 at approximately 1431 hours for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More “3rd Degree Felony”. Officers responded to the front of the Odessa Police Department in reference to a subject passed out in a blue 2016 Chevrolet Colorado.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the complainant and observed the listed vehicle at 2nd and Grant. Officers made contact with the driver of the listed vehicle, later identified as Arizpe. While making contact with Arizpe, officers could smell an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath.

Arizpe was placed into custody for driving while intoxicated after failing field sobriety tests. Investigation revealed that Arizpe had five prior convictions for driving while intoxicated. Arizpe was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
